Dondo Donnie Jon walking back his deportation plans after it affected agriculture, dining and, you guessed it; Hotels:

‘The Trump administration called for a halt on deportation raids on agricultural sites, hotels and restaurants, and not to arrest "noncriminal collaterals" the New York Times reported. The move came out of fears that the sweeping raids were hurting key industries in the U.S.’

Maybe measure at least once before doing more unhinged bullsh1t?

Probably not, but it’s positive to see one of his handlers had a moment of clarity.

It's a common theme in this administration, the chainsaw mentality. No long term strategy or detailed thought on the ramifications of your actions.

Fire a bunch of people who you have to rehire because no one took the time to understand what they do or how critical they may be to running this country.

Round 'em all up and get 'em out of here.. not just the criminals, but honest, hard working humans who are doing jobs no one else is willing to do.

Most of what the entire Trump administration does is done without any thought of real effects.

Trump seems to think that everything is simple (like him) ..
.He was going to stop the war in Ukraine even before taking office..
stop the war in Gaza on day one..
stop the protest in LA in one day by sending in the National Guard (which just made it escalate) now he wants to use the military. Without any thought of consequences.

Stop foreign trade instantly with tariffs.
Force all manufacturing back into the USA in a day.

I could go on.

These are just a few examples that show Trump is not competent to lead America.

He shifted the focus, expanding and increasing the pace of deportation of those with criminal records.

If those industries were being affected, good for him in making that call.

It’s not a big freaking deal.

ICE went into a meat processing plant in Nebraska and took workers off the job.

Since when is working at a job that most Americans will not do a crime?

If Trump wants to get criminals then he needs to take the time to find out if a person is a actual criminal and not working on a job and paying taxes and social security,

Why did you create a diversion to the topic?

Were the plant workers illegal immigrants? Just asking because you should have checked with Nebraska specific laws in the hiring of employees before composing that propaganda.

Employers that knowingly employ an unauthorized immigrant worker face suspension of their business license. The license can be reinstated if the employer fires the worker in question or pays the cost of either the Labor Department's investigation or $1,000. Suspensions are longer with repeat violations.

Also, it’s really sad that you accept the exploitation of foreign illegal workers available for labor at poverty level hourly wages.

This huge, unsustainable influx of foreign cheap labor most certainly a factor and contribution to why US citizens are not seeking jobs, they can’t compete or will not compete for a job paying $5/hour.

Convoluted logic at it's finest. How do you or even ICE know that the workers are not legal citizens or citizens in process? I doubt immigrants feel they are being exploited if they have a steady job they may be far and above what they were experiencing in their homeland.

Now that Trump has decided to pivot and leave the farm workers and hotel workers alone, is he promoting exploitation of cheap labor, is that why he included hotel workers since he employees a sh*tload of them?

ICE freaking asks for documents, specifically Form 1-9, verification of employment eligibility.

They were all had documents to work. That is harassment and bullying of workers at its best by ICE.
