I was happy to see that I didn't hear of any violence at any of these peaceful protests.

I can still hear the mostly peaceful claims by CNN with the burning cars and buildings in the background. The Communist LA Mayor has that line down pat too.

Many J6ers went to jail, with no trial, no nothing, the others in the past like in Portland and Seattle not so much.

the estimated protest against "No Kings" was more then 15 million who showed up...many, many more who could not do that much walking feel the same...

America is truly divided and I do not see Trump trying to bring people together...and that is truly sad for all of America..He still rants about all Blue States and continues to divide and most of MAGA do the same...

Trumps Birthday celebration of a parade sure did not honor the Army.
.If he wanted to honor the Army he should have spent the tax payers 60 million dollars on Veterans or scholarships for military families..not on a birthday parade for Trump.

I think most Americans agree since there was a very small turn out for that so called parade to celebrate the Army.

Trump's speech was like 7 minutes, maybe his shortest ever. It was very much in honor of the Army, and the attendance was quite high despite the security measures taken. The place was jam-packed. Another thing is that nobody was compensated for attending this parade, and the attendees didn't act like animals. MG managed to get several lies into her short speech, but I am still proud of her since she did appear to be spewing her own line of sh** without Soccer's coaching.

I think one parade for the ARMY after 250 years is fine, it sure beats the hell out of 10 zillion Pride Parades. The Army asked for and got a permit when the Demented One was still in office and of course, it was not an issue whatsoever at that time. But Trump, the NAZI, and all of those damn American flags.

Im not really keen on the NGO funding, but the losers can do what they want. But I can only imagine the screams of racism and other wild accusations had Obama haters had a No Kenyans Day to protest Barry Hussein. Ah, the hand wringing.

It lasted several hours, im sure a few people dozed. I saw a bit of it and the crowd was big and they acted like civilized human beings. This is after going through security measures that can drag out for a while.

Trump didn't orchestrate the event but he did his part to show the world that the USA has decent civilized human beings as well as scumbags and douchebags.

If a few thousand people gather in multiple cities across the Country to do nothing but stand on sidewalks and moan and groan instead of live streaming this great event, like I did, along with millions of other Patriots, it was their decision.

Glad you are of "it". Most people can multi task and their love of country and deep respect for the military is not dependent in any way on watching a bunch of tanks roll down the street, tearing up the roads.

I can fully support and believe in the "No Kings" movement and still love this country. I can think Hegseth is alarmingly unqualified for his position, yet still fully supporting current soldiers and veterans.

I suppose you are against the right of people to peacefully protest injustice and express their dislike of this Administration.

Do your children never get your full attention? Do you always multi-task while parenting, say for instance during a school or sport event?

I would hope that something in your life has brought about enough interest or moral motivation to have or be worthy of your full respectful attention.

Perhaps the births of your children?

My whole response was to MG and her need to boast about attendance versus those who chose to focus on paying respect to our Country’s honorable 250 year service history, then and now.
This branch of our military have a lot to be proud of and they should be accompanied by the civilian population who they serve.

It was actually very enlightening to see for myself the advancements in technology that our modern day equipment has.

Trump’s birthday coincided with the exact date of the Army’s inception.

The America 250 Foundation along with 22 others (Gary Sinise Foundation, Bell Textron, Wounded Warrior Project Wal-Mart, GOVX, Leonardo DRS, RTX Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Leidos, Armed Forces Mutual, Boeing, First Command, General Electric Aerospace, T-Mobile, King George, InterContinental Hotels Group and the NFL) had committed sponsorships to this event.

Who funded the “no kings” protests? Do you know? Do you care?

A person can support both the military and "no Kings"..Both my husband and grandson served in the Marines..I could not b more proud of either of them and the good men they are.

I have great respect for those who serve to keep America Free and Free of Dictators and Kings.

You may not like the fact that many, many millions marched in the No Kings and the turnout for the parade was much less then expected.but that is what happened.

There was no tax payer money spent on No Kings...no expense involved other then what each person choose to spend that I am aware of..

To my knowledge there was no cost involved in the attending the No Kings events. If any money was spent, it wasn't any of your tax dollars.
