Of the mundane intellectual slaying of liberal loonies. I’m off for awhile as well.

You're very transparent. We liberal loonies have never been "intellectually slain" by you.
It's pretty clear that this chaotic fiasco of an administration can no longer be defended, even with the most illogical of rationalizations. Even by the most ardent of cult followers.
It's a straight up sh*t show on every level.
To borrow a phrase, "this is what you voted for"

I am not sure what the intellectual rationale is for wrecking the economy and sending the markets in free fall.
I'm not sure what intellectual rationale exists for taking safety precautions when there's a deadly pandemic, that exists without a viable treatment option.
By the weight of scientific discovery and legal precedents and decades of experimentation....with dissertations and practice to back it up....
They still find that one looney to contradict it all, then they get some guy who gets grounded and pounded on a mat to start a podcast and start promulgating this 'junk science' 'junk economics' and 'junk legal practice'...and he pours that crap out on his podcast for more weak minded people to follow.
They spew it in a semi-intellectual way and then the weak minded start to think that this junk science is real to them.
It's about as intellectually sound as a course taught at Praeger U, which is only one step ahead of Trump University in the rigor of its scholarship.
One ounce of critical thinking turns over the house of cards completely....
But people choose anti-intellectualism, and before you know it, Idiocracy Part II is born...yet again.
God is punishing this great nation in ways you haven't realized it. We took what God gave us, refused to form it or develop it, and pissed all over it. Now he is stepping aside, and we are getting what we deserve as a nation.
For those Patriots who tried to stop it, I salute you...but unfortunately, we'll all be punished as one.
And we're stuck with the results of what THEY voted for.
The good thing is..there is slight hope at special elections and at the mid terms....let's hope they get here before the Great Depression....

Now he is stepping aside, and we are getting what we deserve as a nation. I didn't know I was going to be going to Hell for voting for Trump. If I knew God wanted me to vote for Kamala, I sure would have. Please, Lord, forgive me!
If you don't read the papers, you're uninformed. If you read the papers, you're misinformed. - Mark Twain
They misuse what God gave them, but it's right to call me out to think that God is actively punishing us.
Nope, we're just misusing (as a nation) what God (or nature) gave us. The faculties of logic and reason have been misused and allowed to be manipulated by the rantings of a carnival barker. It would be funny, if we weren't stuck with the consequences of those rantings.
At the moment, the crashing of the economy is the latest consequence. With the exception of a few proud patriots who chose USA over Trump, I am here to remind you 'This is what you voted for!' And.... Foxtrot Delta Tango

Bob
I do not think you will go to hell for voting for Trump, nor do I think I am going to hell for having voted for Hillary or Obama as I have been told in the past.
I think God gave us free will to choose what we feel is the best choice. Sometimes we are correct other times not. Either way we all live with the outcome of the majority's choice.
