Well, while we're all worried about the price of eggs, Trump just landed a company that will invest $100 billion in our country. They are the largest manufacturer of computer chips in the world, and they are setting up shop in Arizona. This will create thousands of high paying jobs in the tech related fields.

So, while I'm sorry your cholesterol levels may drop for a few more months, thousands of Americans will go to work, national security will be improved and that is a stimulus for the economy.

Tariffs aren't always the solution but when done right, they work. Trump had to have been working on this long before January 20.

Honda will be building Civics in Indiana now as opposed to Mexico, to avoid the tariff.

TSMC, the world’s biggest semiconductor manufacturer, produces chips for companies including Apple, Intel and Nvidia. The company had already begun constructing three plants in Arizona after the Biden administration offered billions in subsidies. Its first factory in Arizona has started mass production of its 4-nanometer chips.

But of course Trump will give himself credit and MAGA will repeat that it was Trump.LOL

Actually the owner of the company gave Trump credit at a presser this afternoon. Biden opened a door Trump took it off the hinges and now it's a 100-billion-dollar deal.

Of course the owner of the company gave Trump credit, he's the sitting President and holds the cards on tax credits etc. Had the owner given any credit to the Biden administration, Trump would have thrown a tantrum.

The push to bring semiconductor production to the US started under Biden’s CHIPS and Science Act, which provided billions in incentives to encourage companies like TSMC to expand in the US. The groundwork for this investment was laid long before Trump re-entered the political stage.

Actually, Trump did mention Biden in regard to the deal. He did say Biden gave the company a few billion, not nearly 100 billion but it was a start.

This is like the third big economic announcement in weeks. Admit that it's working.

I don't disagree that this is great news for the U.S., but I'll withold my "admit it's working" because I'm not sure what "it" is and what the results will be for average Americans.

Corporations building factories and creating jobs is and always will be the best economic indicator. Corporations create meaningful jobs, and I know they are all corporate greedy bastards according to the left but see what happens if they ever decide to stop playing the game.

Anyone who believed Trump would lower the price of eggs in the first six months is an idiot and has no idea how the economy works. If it was that simple, even Biden could have done it.

It was an election hot button but make no mistake, Trump got elected because of the border and because Harris was an idiot.

The economic turnaround comes when good jobs come back. My God, our own city is proof of what happens when good jobs leave the city and country.

If he can hold Congress in 26, we can see the kind of boom we saw with Reagan. If not, more stagntion.

I will hold off until we see if Trump does better then he did as Trump one where we loss 200,000 manufacturing jobs before the pandemic.

I never hope for anyone to fail.

I will give credit if and when it is due to either side.

Along with that I will also not defend either party when they make mistakes or especially when the commit crimes.
