Trump's Approval Rating

Trump: I had an approval rating today of 71 and another one of 69. I haven't heard of those numbers before.

Well Donnie, neither has anyone else because you just made them up.

The latest national poll from the Pew Research Center found Trump “underwater,” with 47% approving of the president and 51% disapproving.

The latest national poll from Quinnipiac University pointed in a similar direction: 45% approve, 49% disapprove.

There are several other nationally recognized polls with similar numbers, but none comes close to King Trumps own quoted numbers.

As the chainsaw approach and blatant lies (Ukraine did not start the war) continue and some of his priorities hit people at home this trend will continue.

Anticipated MAGA response: "poll numbers mean nothing" It's true that people tend to believe polls if they reflect their own thinking, which is why Delusional Donald thinks he has a 71 percent approval rating, which is supported by nothing.

Really Blu? I don't know that Biden ever posted his own "personal" ratings that were 25 points higher than the average of all actual polls.

Trump still claims that he did not lose the 202o election..Jan 6th was a day of love. Ukraine started the war with Russia..anytime he repeats numbers he will lie to either keep his base angry and afraid or to inflate his own likeability.

He is delusional or the boldest liar ever.

What is truly amazing is that we will have some one this board defend his lies or spin them to attempt to justify his delusions..

Well, I figured the reason you never posted them were because they never were very high anyway .. 38% during the honeymoon phase of his administration was probably the most favorable it’s ever been in his entire political career.

Inflation (not Biden's inflation) is not going away anytime soon, in fact, prices will likely rise with tariffs and trade wars.

"Rational Americans know this".... yeah they should have before they trusted Trumps repeated promise that he would bring down grocery prices... fast.

You figured wrong. Who cares what Biden's was, it's irrelevant. I don't know what Bidens was, but according to Gallup:

Trump's job approval rating is 15 points below the historical average for all other elected presidents in mid-February since 1953, but it is five points higher than the February reading in his first term. Bill Clinton has the next lowest mid-February rating for a newly inaugurated president -- which, at 51%, is six points higher than where Trump is now. John Kennedy (72%) and Jimmy Carter (71%) were the highest rated at this point in their presidencies.

To my knowledge, no other President, ever, in history, self reported his own rating 25 percent higher than all the other polls.

I’m not a hypocrite nor do I dance around any legitimate point. You know fully well Biden denied his dismal polling numbers, even flat out lied about them. The only reason Biden won the nomination in 2020 was because the establishment Democrats hated Bernie Sanders, thus they eat their own.

Point. "Read the polls, Jack, you guys are all the same," Biden continued as he slowly began walking up closely to the reporter and the camera. "That poll showed that 92% of Democrats, if I ran, would vote for me."

I'll go one step past that. Trump could care less what his favorability is this time. He's a last termer so the goal isn't to impress but to accomplish.

My only concern is he will hurt Vance's chances in 28 if he goes too far. When rational thinking people on the GOP side (me and my golf squad as example), we may not be there if he doesn't slow up a little.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he continues to pack up the illegals and send them home and I do hope he exposes not only the waste but the corruption in D.C. Again, what's he got to lose by going after Chuck, Nancy, Maxine and AOC? He will enjoy the hunt if not the kill.

Just slow down on these mass firings without really studying the departments in depth.

Oh, and while I don't give Presidents credit for the stock market, I do know their polices impact certain stocks and since Feb 1, I'm smiling big smiles.

We are fortunate too Opi, we have all our necessities, no ones going hungry here, but it may affect a vacation location which is a want not a need. My mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law would be struggling if not for our help and Mrs Soccer's siblings help.

I think he cares, Opi, it's his ego. I don't think he cares who he may hurt with his agenda, but he needs his adulation to the extent that he has to make it up.

I honestly think he is going to try to find a path to a third term. I don't think that would happen, but these days, I'm done saying "that could never happen"
