In the wake of the revelation that $34 million was transferred from taxpayer wallets into the coffers of far-left media outlet Politico, the Trump administration has ordered the General Services Administration (GSA) to terminate all media contracts for which the GSA currently pays. Included in the list of outlets affected are the aforementioned Politico—whose "Pro" product has gotten particular scrutiny—plus Bloomberg and the BBC.
Axios, another far-left media outlet, obtained a copy of a memo sent to the GSA by an unnamed Trump administration official directing the agency to do two things:
Pull all contracts for Politico, BBC, E&E (Politico sub) and Bloomberg
Pull all media contracts for just GSA - cancel every single media contract today for just GSA only.
Just look at these Democrats scurrying about, they are like roaches, and they are everywhere. Politico and USAID Government employees should be prosecuted. And yes, of course, I fully understand the resident leftists in here see no problems with this at all. After all, they looked at it from all sides 50/50. And just like that, Democrats support the Ford F150.

Get your facts straight Joe. Political Pro is a subscription service that private sector companies as well as federal agencies and individual politicians subscribe to. It offers political news an insight not available on the standard, free of charge, Politico website. That money spent was not a grant or a subsidy of any kind that went to Politico. Those were the total of fees paid by all agencies and politicians who subscribe.
Cancel the subscriptions? Ok by me. Twist it to make it look as though taxpayers are paying for the Politico website and information... not so fast.
It is common for federal agencies to allow employees to expense subscriptions to newspapers, wire services and other media outlets as a function of their jobs, while subscriptions to niche content in a specific policy area can cost thousands of dollars a year. If Musk feels they don't need, cancel away.
