global warming?

They blame the fires in California on global warming. I wonder if they can convince the folks in Pensacola FL. of global warming.

They may be able to do just that since Pensacola had snow recently...I have relative's there for more then 20 years and they had never had snow there in that time...Global Warming is real but you will always have some who do not believe in science...

I thought they changed the name to Climate Change after global cooling and global warming fizzled out??

I was just wondering how science explains that the snow in Pensacola is caused by global warming. Do your relatives believe in global warming?

Global warming is now called climate change...I am not sure what they believe on that issue...

Science is a huge topic..but briefly it says that Global Warming causes weather pattern to change...

I would say some examples: it floods in areas that normally did not flood, areas that got a lot of rain may become arid, you get more warm weather in areas that are usually cold...cold in areas that
are normally warmer..etc...

I know that scientists all agree about climate change. I personally think that if it means milder winters around here, it isn't so bad. LOL! Also developing renewable energy sources is another plus.

The scientists who don't follow suit, are silenced, much like those in the medical field who didn't go along with the Covid disaster. It's funny how scientists tend to find things remarkably in the same way as those funding the study.

I think a little information always helps, it would point to the fact that a temporary 'cold snap' does not negate the existence of global warming.

We can listen to the body of scientific evidence backed by experimental data, journals, and peer reviews.....

Or we can listen to that one dissenting opinion, that has been trumped up by AM radio talking heads and podcasts of people who have had their heads beaten in while trapped in some super hold...

Snow in a place that hasn't seen it in a lifetime doesn't disprove global warming like the worse forest fire in a place that has a lot of forest fires proves it. After many disasters you hear it was due to global warming. The proof is the ozone layer. I don't know how they measure it, but if they proved it's shrinking due to carbon emissions, then it's proven.
