Sadly, American values as we once knew them are not important to many.
It is all about how to further their career or line their own pockets, or to get revenge on people who have opposing views.

When the American people elect a convicted felon as the President
it says they do not care about things like rule of law, honesty, or moral character.

Those are the values I still believe in, but from what the election tells us, I am in the minority.

Don't forget, 75 million people do still hold those values, in the end, good will win over evil. In the meantime, it feels good to be an individual who cares about others and truly wants the best for all Americans, not just those who idolize a lying moron who only cares about himself and his rich buddies.

Those that put him over the top are learning real fast he is not going to keep his promise to bring down prices or end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours. His priorities were to pardon those who attacked our capitol and the police officers defending it and protecting the people inside.

Caring about Americans is opening our border and letting criminals invade our country? Yeah the last administration cared nothing about us Americans. It was all about Abortion, open borders and politicizing the FBI, DOJ and DEI

I'm going to bet that Lakin Rileys parents had good values as did she. A nursing student with a full bright life ahead of her. I'm sure she dreamed of becoming a nurse and helping others. Of course the animal who killed her didn't have those values.

Lumped into groups with words like, "trash", "deplorables", "cultists", "nazis" etc is the new democrat party value system.

Yeah, those of us who voted for Trump have no care for our fellow man. We cheat on taxes, laugh when we go past orphanages and point at people living under the overpasses.

Except for one thing. My wife and I probably donate as much money to those types of causes as some of the haters make in three months. We often volunteer to help with raising funds to assist the needy. We contribute to Tunnels To Towers every month.

Yep, no morals or values here in our house.

You need to read my words more carefully my friend. I was speaking of my own values, not all Dems or Republicans. I also said WHM comments would be "Trump Approved"

I will steadfastly stand by my opinion that Trump does not care for all Americans. Do I need to list the reasons why I believe that? I can. J6 pardons, especially for those that attacked the police. Witholding aid for CA residents who through no fault of their own, lost everything for starters.

Trump cares enough to go bail out what the Democrats destroyed in Mexifornia. He got 31% of the vote in L.A. yet he went. That is a far cry from Biden's response in N. Carolina where he sent FEMA in to half-ass help those people, except of course the ones who had Trump flags in their yards.

Opi - I think you are taking some liberties with my statement -- keep in mind who I was responding to.. Joe Smith, the hater of all Democrats who takes every opportunity to slam them, all of them...it's always "they" do this "they" think this.

Mentioning the 75 million who voted for Harris was a way to emphasize to those that believe the results of this election was a landslide, a mandate, that anyone who pushes back on Trumps agenda, his lack of empathy, is just an obstructionist.

If you felt that I was personally attacking every Republican, that was not my intention.

Opi- how was the pizza and the Cajun food? I can't imagine a time yet with no kids in the house, there are some days I can't wait, but at the same time I want to enjoy every minute and don't want it to go too fast. Mrs Soccer and I talk about how lucky we are to have great kids and I remind her not to brag too much --- we have a long way to go and we aren't done reproducing just yet, lol.

I enjoy the ravioli and spaghetti at IMOs. I'm probably one of the few who don't like their pizzas. As for the new Buoys place, let me tell you that it will be a favorite of mine now.

Gumbo as authentic as any I've tasted in New Orleans. Catfish was excellent. My son said the shrimp was really good.

I wish my kids were little again. So proud of both of them but I miss them. They both have careers now but always find time to come by at least once a week for dinner or just to shoot the bull. Both have done well. Both got scholarships to good schools, one for sports and one academics.

Enjoy every minute soccer. My house is too quiet now.
