The confirmation of Pete Hegseth is complete, and he is now the new Defense Secretary.

This vote is why the democrats should never give up their hope of overtaking the control of both houses in two years. Notice that all democrats voted no and three republicans defected including senile Mitch McConnel who at least three times looked to have strokes on the floor.

It's why we should all be careful, including myself about calling Joe Biden senile. Mitch is senile and a coward.

Probably two more tough appointments but other than that, the democrats can only run interference.

Four days and only three appointments confirmed. I admire their hutzpah.

Mitch is almost as bad as those two ugly old broads who vote against the GOP half the time. The Democrats don't have that problem, they run them out on a rail if they don't fall in line.

Mitch probably is senile, (probably not as far gone as Joe) but I think more so he is devious and of course a coward as you mentioned.

Not unless they get voter ID, that will never happen. You know I think Newsome could be a good dude if he would just get his head out of his a**.

He has great hair, I think he has the ability, he just needs to be at least in the center and not so far left. Sure he's better than Kamala but so is my dog. I hope he gets his act together someday. He has been a horrible Governor, maybe not as horrible as our Governor, but close enough.

I actually gave congressional democrats credit for sticking together while the GOP always has defectors. The voters will “take out” those who don’t back the party.

Democrats do not have the ability to vote on the merits of a candidate, they are nothing but obstructionists. Austin was voted in 92 to 3 or something ridiculous like that, and what a joke he was. The Democrats won't consider this whole thing a success unless they can take down Patel (And wouldn't that be racist) or Tulsi.
