Miss Tammy cherry-picked a bunch of obscure issue questions that she likely didn't know the answers to herself until she put her list together, even a totally irrelevant inquiry into ASEAN, an international economic pact not dealing with defense, then declared Hegseth unqualified to be DOD secretary because he didn't win Tammy Nano-Minutia Trivia. And they wonder why Trump and the GOP handed them their @$$3$ this past November.

Can she be even worse than Dick Durbin????

The Republicans have lowered the bar for this position all because Hegseth is Trump's buddy.

Soccer, you know this is how these things go. Each of these candidates know they are already confirmed so they can be as cocky and confident as they want. The Dems are doing today exactly what the GOP did four years ago.

It does not matter if any of the cabinet choices know anything at all about the job. All that matters to MAGA is that they will all be lock steep with anything Trump desires..

Opi, I know Hegseth will get confirmed, my response was directly addressing Joe's unfounded criticism of Tammy Duckworth's questions which were totally relevant for the position he is seeking.

As far as past cabinet members you asked if they were qualified, I can't say everyone of them was, but I can't say they weren't either... we are talking about the Secretary of Defense.

You say and you are correct: You put people in your cabinet who think like you do, who support your agenda and who you think you can trust

When it comes to Trump, that's a big part of my problem with some of these nominees. I can't do anything about it but express my opinions.

Trump also requires absolute loyalty, even expecting his VP to ignore the constitution and refuse to certify a free and fair election. .

4 years ago, the Republicans did nothing like this, nothing. The old both sides argument doesn't work here, all you have to do is check the votes. Biden's people skated while the Republicans had their thumbs up their asses not wanting to rock the boat.

With Obama it was even more pathetic, it was racist to even look at Barry Hussein the wrong way, and that same criteria applied to his cabinet picks.

The Democrats seem to be worried that Bondi will be a hack like Garland, they sure didn't give a rat's ass about that 4 years ago.

I do not know if this is only a Mega deal. I do know that Trump asked Pence and Barr to violate the constitution. I also know he sent Rudy to "find dirt on Biden".

You may know of some facts that show were Biden asked someone to go against the constitution. I am not aware of them.

Please post what information you have on that and I will be glad to check it out.

I didn't say anything about the constitution MG. My challenge was the argument these appointees aren't qualified, and they are every bit as much as a few of the ones Biden put up.

If you see where I used the word constitution or ever supported anything to do with Jan 6, let me know. My only issue on Jan 6th is that the police weren't allowed to open fire on these domestic terrorists.

I just don't want anyone throwing out challenges about morality or qualifications when we just went through four years of wanna be women in cabinet positions, leaving our soldiers to die in the Abbey Gate fiasco and people staging a takeover of their party by pushing their candidate out the door.

My concern with some of Trump's picks is that they will do whatever Trump demands including breaking " Rule of Law".
I would not care if they went after anyone who has broken the law.
I do not want to see another 70 plus million dollars wasted to go after anyone when they can not prove the charges as they did to Clinton.

I know you are smart enough to know that Trump was not innocent on Jan 6th. They had every right to pursue charges for his role in it.

I do not think she will have a problem getting confirmed.
I am not sure if she can be trusted. I do not know enough about her at this time.
I know she is a Trump loyalist and that is always a concern given that Trump has a history of disregarding " rule of law"
