Karen Bass just stood and stared at the sky when asked questions today. I actually felt bad for her, none of this is her fault. She is too stupid to handle this job, but the voters wanted this so they got it. Bass seemed distraught, she's a county-level at best politician and is in way over her head. Why didn't someone step up and help this woman?? This negligence is criminal, but Bass should not be blamed in any way. The Governor can be faulted, he's not stupid, he just doesn't give a damn.

They have a supermajority in the legislature, they have the governor and they run the big cities, but somehow none of this is on them.
