I can't believe 12 people got shot and nobody had a gun to return fire. Something tells me this story, or all of it anyway will never be told. Lots of stonewalling going on here too.

Until this is straightened out this place should be shut down, and perhaps it has been. Something like that might help people's recollection of what went down come around.

Dave - I'm curious to know what you see as the issue with this media report? Seemed like a pretty straight forward report. There are lots of unanswered questions, but it sounds like the reporters have tried to get more information.

It took over two weeks for any information to come out at all. Except for rumors when it initially happened.

The media had to get a FOIA in order to get any information from the law enforcement on these shootings...So how is the media to blame for not having the information sooner?

Yes, sounds like the issue is the Venice PD, not channel 5. Locally, there is a lot of stories that would be hidden from the public without the local stations.
