Joe Biden's now-infamous "garbage" comment in which he referred to Trump supporters with the derogatory term continues to haunt both the White House and the Kamala Harris campaign. On Thursday things developed into a full-blown scandal, possibly including criminality. Don't worry Democrats don't actually get punished for wrongdoing.
After Biden made the statement while speaking to CNN, the White House immediately edited his remarks to insert a magical apostrophe and pulled it right out of their ass, it was remarkable. The narrative then shifted to claiming that the president was referring to a specific Trump "supporter's" garbage, in this case, a comedian who made a joke about Puerto Rico. As expected, the press ran with the revisionist history.
This is no longer just about politics, though. The White House altered the transcript despite objections from the stenographer, who did not feel an apostrophe should have been added. They told her to shut up and do as she was told Im sure.Ok thanks, Kirby. Glad to know that the drones are just another urban legend. Nothing to see here.
I just found this beautiful golden oldie, that I think would be a great theme song for the Trump Campaign.
Any song that begins with "Monday's promise is Tuesday's Lie" and has such an appropriate chorus is worthy to be a parody of the Trump Campaign. Lucky for you, my bets would be 99 to 1 this artist would refuse to do it.
