Holy cow! Anderson Cooper grilled Harris like a real journalist last night .

When asked about the border, she of course said, well what about Trump? When she said numbers were down he asked, why field you and Biden wait so long?

When asked about high prices she of course said we will ban price gouging. LOL. How?

When CNN starts attacking a liberal, something is strange. Other CNN host have taken swipes as well.

Ratings ploy? Tired of being bias?

It was a good town hall.

yes, Anderson did ask the hard questions. I thought overall Harris did fine. She has only been running her campaign for three months.

Trump, on the other hand, once again, showed his fear of hard questions by refusing to hold a town hall. Remember when he did the last one, he said he was tired of questions and played 40 minutes of music and swayed and stood there all that time. I hope you do not think this makes him tough..LOL

MG, this is where we differ greatly. Please give me one example of Kamala answering a direct question with a substantive answer last night.

The two I offered were nothing more than political spin with no merit. If you see it, more power to you but even the follow up crew on CNN used words like, "word salad" "missed an opportunity to state her policies".

Again, I don't see it.

Trump going to CNN is like Harris going to FOX. No matter what he said, he couldn't win a vote with their audience and it's a waste of time and energy to try.

He's stated policies during campaign trips but again, in my view the only two issues that many Americans care about are the price of food on their table and the fear of having a relative raped, beaten or killed by an ILLEGAL, not to be confused with a legal immigrant.

Abortion is a topic of concern to many women. Are there enough of them to beat Catholic and evangelical women who do see abortion as murder? A poll shows that only about 23% of women under the age 25 rank this as a top 3 issue. We'll see.

Personally, I enjoy the days after the election to see the data of demographics in voting. It is a telling factor to the trending changes of the American public as a new generation of "instant gratification" takes over.

She didnt answer any questions, and she doesnt because she doesnt have to. Even if Anderson didnt do the usual and spoon feed her, you know damn well these so called tough questions were given to her days in advance. Thats part of the problem, she cant even answer questions that she already knows are coming.

Damn, Tim Walz really really really wants to be a U.S. Senator pretty badly.

I think we can agree, it would not matter how Harris answers a question. You will never see her a President. On the other hand it works both ways. I would never vote for Trump, no matter how he answers a question.
I believe Trump to be a Con man and felon who incited a insurrection against a free and fair election.

I'm not buying that Trump didn't show up because it would be a waste of time and it wasn't that he was afraid of another face off with Harris. If that was a waste of time then so are all of his rallys, he loves them because he has to be adored by his followers for him to feel important. Not showing up just gives the Dems a reason to say exactly what I'm saying. He's afraid.

As far as answering questions, I only caught a few minutes of it, but I'm not surprised that she answered questions the way she wanted to, with her narrative in mind, careful not to state anything that would come back to haunt her. That's no different from most, if not all, politicians. Did she flat out lie about anything.... not sure, but I doubt it.

Her policy plans are very clear, she's repeated them over and over again and they are detailed on her website, her overall strategy is to highlight the stark contrast between her and Trump. The Left loves it and the Right hates it.

Trump has concepts. Really, what is he going to do if he dismantles the Affordable Care Act? He's had 8 years to come up with a plan for that.

He's also the self proclaimed, Father of IVF. In fact, he has stated the government and insurance companies will pay all expenses related to IVF for couples that need it. That's not happening.

It's true that they all say what they want to do. She says she will get the border bill signed. It won't ever reach her desk if congress is controlled by the GOP.

The bible says faith without works is dead. A President without congressional support is in the same boat.

I played her interview back and honestly didn't see any solid answers. Amazing that CNN grilled her like an Ohio cat.
