Bush, creating false pretenses for war, and Cheney the darling of the military industrial complex...
I have not really gained any affinity for these gentlemen over the years. Yet, compared to the two cartoon characters bearing the standard for the GOP today, they seem like decent human beings.
And further, in addition to God fearing true Republican Mike Pence (who I still do not like), what do the three have in common?
NONE of them are supporting Trump.
And ONE of them....will be doing the patriotic thing....
Voting for Kamala Harris.....choosing country over party.Everything I said above in my post.....and Foxtrot Delta Tango.

I never liked or trusted Cheney or his daughter. Self-serving war mongers. I do love how the democrats now think these men are the Deity.
Bernie said it right this morning. He said he could not be any more opposed to Cheney than when he was in office, but he felt the endorsement was noteworthy. Let's not forget RFK switched dance partners.
As for Busch, I'll always remember the image of him standing on the rubble the twin towers and putting the animal Bin Laden on notice saying, we would hunt them down.
Now, I could see Biden and Harris sitting down to dinner with Bin Laden and telling him we hoped we left enough military surplus in our botched withdrawal from Afghanistan to supply terror groups like his for years. Busch hated Trump for his treatment of his father and brother. Voters won't follow that lead in Texas or Florida where Jeb was once a big deal.
As for Lez Cheney, she got beat the last time she ran. Tells me more folks in her district didn't like her as opposed to those who do. Promises Made, Promises Kept! Republicans stood, the liberal left wept.

I remember when Democrats called Cheney a War Criminal, now they kiss that war criminal's ass for an endorsement. Funny how that works.Chucky Boy Schumer's Remarks About Rising Up Against Trump Administration Sound Pretty Insurrection-Like.

But the tongues that currently press against Trump's boots were once on Cheney's.
I support our Troops always, but not the decision to send them to Iraq....never have.
I think there are plenty of Republicans out there now wanting it both ways. They wanted to support the Hawkish Bush and Cheney.....now they want to forget about all of that and support Trump, who doesn't even believe the things he says half the time.Everything I said above in my post.....and Foxtrot Delta Tango.

I respect your position on this 3Dee, but I can guarantee you that the support, 75% of that was not support of the invasion, but to keep our troops morally sound, motivated, and to know their efforts were cherished and respected back home, at least in appearance of foreign onlookers.
Trump has said for years he was against it.Trump ~ Global Symbol of Freedom

It doesn't matter to these people they oppose anything Trupmis for. They would even stop butchering babies if they thought Trump supported it.Chucky Boy Schumer's Remarks About Rising Up Against Trump Administration Sound Pretty Insurrection-Like.
