I know the platforms of both political parties. My entire family were proud Democrats (the old Democratic Party) and I can not put my finger on the period of time when “free speech” was abandoned as the most centralized theme.
Censorship. Think about how much that would/could effect a population of freedom lovers.Republicans rarely make promises, Democrats make promises all the time and then break them.

They want to censor anyone who doesn't fall in line with them, hell they want to be the only ones on the ballot in elections. Democrats hate free speech because it makes it harder for them to lie.
