Trump's Promise on IVF

Direct Quote: "Under the Trump administration your government will pay for or your insurance company will be mandated to pay for all costs associated with IVF treatment" -- no specifics, nothing on how to pay for it, but his statement was very clear.

Of course, it's a lie, nothing new there. I hope people realize this is an empty promise by a man desperate to rebrand his image on reproductive rights.

I hope everyone is smart enough to realize this, especially those who are desperate to have a child and can't afford these very expensive treatments.

Agreed on the IVF promise. It is like his 2016 run when he promised to do away with Obama Care and had a better plan. OF COURSE A LIE, he did nothing to do away with Obama care during his presidency.

He is falling behind in the polls and is desperate to find "more votes"

Do you see any candidate saying how they will pay for anything? Neither answer the question but we all know the answer.

IF they follow through with a promise of IVF help or paying for 3,000,000 new homes, the money will only come from you and me.

Kamala's plan calls for quite a bit of unfunded ideas just as, "I'll build a wall, and Mexico will pay for it" did.

When you put a nice saddle on a mule, it's still not a racehorse.

I could have sworn Kamala called that wall all kinds of disparaging things. It was useless, unrealistic, a stupid wall, a misuse of taxpayer’s money … a medieval vanity projects.

I wouldn't pour money into this venture, but helping women have babies is not really the same thing as helping women butcher babies.

Opinionated - I agree, there is seldom an adequate explanation on how to pay for any given plan.

My point was more about what I see as a lack of compassion for people who are having fertility issues by proposing a very specific solution to paying for it. Not tax credits or a one time allowance... the government or your insurance company will pay all associated costs according to him.

Before you say "if people are stupid enough to believe this, that's on them" -- or something similar.... out of the 200 million people that Trump claims "love him" --- there are a huge number of stupid fools who believe everything he says without question.
