As for Dememnted Joe last night, he was sundowning his a** off, very angry, yelling, lying like hell, and slurring. (YOU KNOW, THE USUAL) He reminded me in many ways as to why I hate that jackass so much. You could tell that what's left of that miserable demented fool's soul is already feeling the flames.
They kicked his pathetic sorry a** to the curb as though he was as insignificant as a crushed water bottle. I hope both he and his fake doctor wife felt rejected and humiliated as he shuffled off the stage to fake ass patronizing applause.

Clinton was the last President to lead a more unified nation. Bush got a spike with 911 but the division started with Obama. Much of it may have been racism but his liberal policies began the years of BLM and riots.

I think Michelle was trying to be a shit disturber, she's a very strong speaker. I wouldn't expect you to like her, but she can get a crowd going... without lying.

Just an observation on BLM and some of the backlash to that moniker... i.e. -- all lives matter. That is very true and I always thought if the movement would have been labeled "Black Lives Matter Too" it would have been better understood. I think things have changed for the better, but my Dad pointed out to me that, in the past, if a Black child was abducted vs a White child, or an innocent Black couple in a poor neighborhood was shot and killed it didn't seem to bring as much attention and outrage as a White child or couple, even in a poor neighborhood.

I also attribute much of Trumps appeal and following to underlying racism. I think some voters were shell shocked that a Black man was elected President.

I think people need to get beyond trying to create a stigma for cultural likes and dislikes, as you are fermenting. Many, many black folks took no offense to the mug shot reference because of the stigma placed on it - they felt connected.
