Trump is self-destructing. I know he's not the typical candidate and doesn't take orders from his campaign management team, but he should.

It's alright to talk tough and act like you're a bad ass. It plays to the right audience.

However, just as he did with Hillary, he's going down one-way roads the wrong way.

You don't make fun of someone's race while speaking before black organization.

You don't continue bashing Sleepy Joe when he's gone.

You don't alienate women (who you have yet to alienate) by talking down about women.

For God's sake Don. You had it made. Kamala got a little swell in the polls because she was the new Great White Hope. You let that wave crest before you start blasting her weak foreign policy, her lame border protection, her soft on crime and defund the police stances. She shoots herself in the foot, but you keep pulling the bullet out.

She's going to get another poll pop after their convention. Let her ride the wave. Then, attack her policies, not her looks. Challenge her on the issues that she has already failed on.

You're going to blow it Don. Then we are stuck with four more years of the far-left wing of the party running things for four more years which will be disastrous. More soft borders. More cop bashing. More soft on crime. More socialist give-a-way projects.

Just shut up and let the people do your bidding while you act like a leader.

I don't think he can help himself, Opinionated, and I don't think his handlers can control him. If I put aside my feelings on policy differences and just looking at the man he is, I think he is a self absorbed, egotistical, unstable, lying,s.o.b. --- just my opinion.

Despite his tough talk and attitude, I don't think he is strong at all, sometimes those that speak the loudest, engage in name calling and belittle people are the weakest of all. I know all of that attracts a particular voter, but he already has those folks.

He really needs to stop trying to attract and engage Black voters, his efforts just seem to backfire.

By the way, with the exception of his base, J.D. isn't doing Trump any favors either.

Always good to hear from a sane member of this board.

Some people like someone that fights back, and are tired of the GWB and George Romney types.

Trump was ambushed except for by Harris, you sort of left that part out. Biden is gone??? Really, I saw him grandstanding today and still yapping about Trump. Trump isn't going to win with the "please excuse me liberals," if I vote for Trump vote. His actual supporters are tired of him getting kicked in the face for 7.5 years. If you want him to kiss ass, and take it, just vote for Kamala and be done with it. He isn't going to win anyway.

For your information, Trump is a badass in my book. This man has been witch hunted for years and almost assassinated. If you watch MSM, they twist and turn around everything he says to fit their hate narrative. This isn’t a fight between democrats and republicans, it’s a fight between good and evil and it’s a spiritual battle for the soul of this country. Get on the Trump train or get off. You choose.

Trump is out of control. Those who falsely believe that he is picked on simply do not live in reality. His MEGA people will vote for him no matter what he does. They simply do not care and vote their emotions. If Trump wants to win he will need to increase his base. I do not see that happening and he is doing more to harm himself then help himself with his attack tactics. Bulling is a sign of weakness not strength, and he continues to bully by his attacks,

I would love to see him debate Kamala Harris, but think he is afraid to do so. He does a lot of big talking but not much on action, We will see in time, but my money would be on he will come up with some lame excuse not to debate.

Joe Smith - how was Trump ambushed? Biden is still the President.. he's gone from the race, but he's still in power, and, well, he's likely going to continue to "yap" about Trump as he campaigns for Harris --- there's no shortage of material.

Joe, what you don't see is Kamala is distancing herself from Biden. Remember, she was part of the team that propped him up and then kicked him out.

You don't waste time beating up on a former contender who was beat up by his party. Again, and it's politics 101, if your opponent isn't all that popular, just attack them on issues. Do you think Trump beat Hillary because he was smarter or more experienced? Hell no He beat her because she was as popular as sand in a jock strap.

Trump is going to beat himself because people like me who won't vote for the democrat, still won't surrender our pride and vote for a guy whose mouth is in drive while his brain is in park.

I want him to win. I think he can do some good things for us on the world stage. However, if he keeps this up, he's going to lose again.

All I can say is Trump has extraordinary courage. Gladiator comes to mind.

Rachel Scott’s only intention was to place him in a weak defensive position.

Those precision statements were made out of obvious contempt for this man on her own behalf.

This was an interview, not an interrogation. Courtesy exchanges should have been present.

Maybe at heart, he's a liberal Democrat who really doesn't want the job, but wants to block other Republicans from getting in.

I think it's a great conspiracy theory.

He really works for Soros this time, or maybe he did last time too, but accidentally won?

I don't know, I'm not good at conspiracy theories or at believing them.

If Trump is not a Soros plant, then I can only place the blame at the feet of his voters and supporters.

There were decent Republicans out there who have been kicked to the fringes of the party....and faux-Christians who are anything but, who are always trying to get that Jesus vote.

But at the end, they still wanted the orange idol...

It doesn't seem plausible at this point to pivot to another nominee like the demon-crats did...as they don't have another convention scheduled (or even a debate).

Between now and Republican Election Day on November 6 --- anything can happen!!
