Trump, " Joe should just serve out his term. At this point, he won't be running things anyway so why not just leave him alone".

I think he wants Kamala at her best so she can't say, " I was busy running the country" on November 6.

I think she is feeling cocky right now. Major boost in fundraising, loud crowds, endorsements from every democrat except for the Obama's and Clinton. She should feel good.

However, if she thinks she's going to get the WH as easy as she got this nomination and if she thinks she can match Trump on bashing, she's in for a painful lesson.

If Hillary, the most powerful woman in politics, couldn't beat him and was actually intimidated by him on the debate stage, she's in for a rude awakening.

I'll repeat it, Jimmy Carter will be checking out shortly before or during the Democratic convention. They can not lose this chance to use his death and use it for sympathy. No, they couldn't care less about him, but they never miss an opportunity.

Clinton endorsed Harris only a couple of hours after Joe dropped out and some reports have said Obama will and will be one of her strongest champions.

No, the White House isn't going to be handed to her, but no doubt, her fundraising, endorsements, and voter enthusiasm are great signs if you are a Dem.

Voter registration spiked within 48 hours of Joe dropping out, a 700% daily increase in new registrations... the largest demographic signing up ... the 18-34 year olds. Celebrity and online influencer endorsements will go a long way with this age group.

I've got to believe that there was a very deep dive, "lessons learned" after Clinton's loss. I don't think Clinton was intimidated by Trump, except maybe when he probably creeped her out by lurking behind during the debate like some type of stalker. You're not going to see that happen again.

I don't know any fellow Dems who are getting cocky, but with old age being a major factor in some voters deciding to sit this one out, a candidate almost 20 years younger has an excellent chance.

Ya, age wasn't an issue until Joe was forced out, now Trump is too old, funny how that works. Nancy Pelosi is older than Joe and despite being a liar and a fraud, many claim that other than maybe Obama she still runs the Democrat Party more than anyone else.

Hitlery hates Trump, but I doubt very much if she is a huge Kamala fan. She has to be seething that she went through the process and Kamala was just handed her position. As much as I dislike Hitlery, she at least knew the issues and was competent.

Joe Smith - age wasn't an issue until Biden dropped out? Age was a huge issue for both candidates from the start. For younger, undecided voters and unregistered voters, having a candidate who is almost 20 years younger is going to motivate them to register and vote.

Vance is much younger than Kamala, let's just put him in, he had the same number of primary votes as Kamala. If Biden didn't have dementia his age wouldn't have been an issue. They sure didn't seem too concerned about it during the primary or in 2020 now did they?? No, of course not, it didn't become a problem until his poll numbers dived into the gutter after the debate. Debates prove who can debate better, and seldom move the needle much unless of course, one candidate is in a daze and in a demented state in front of the entire world. If Hitlery somehow had weaseled her way in this go around, her age would have been a non-issue with the media because she wouldn't have looked like she belonged in the nursing home at the debate. Unless her poll numbers tanked, that may be a good reason now for Democrats to ignore the primary winner.

Joe Smith - accept the fact that Kamala Harris is going to be the Democratic candidate with a great chance of winning.

When Joe got the primary votes, Harris was part of the package as his VP. Democracy was not compromised one iota.

Not sure where you've been, but age has been an
issue since day one. Uncommitted voters cited it as one of the reasons they didn't want either candidate.

The end goal for the Democrats, both politicians and voters is to keep Trump out of power. Harris is in the best position to do it.

As far as Vance goes, he brings nothing to the party for non MAGA voters. He's a Trump clone, and some of his recent comments about people without children and women in general is only going to turn off young voters.

I kind of hope Kamala does win so I can sit back and laugh at the carnage. Never once have I said Trump would win.
