|Press Release|
Colton has accomplished much already in her life. She has a background in the entertainment industry, directing, producing, and starring in both film and television, as well as being a published author.
In addition, she has had experience in both the corporate and business industries for many years. She was the COO of a corporation as well as the owner and operator of many companies. Their big passion is their love of their community and wanting to make a lasting difference.
As a citizen, she aided in the creation of grants to help fund departments in Granite City and helped businesses gain exposure.
Colton is running for Granite City mayor in the next mayoral election because they want to continue the great work and vision of the current mayor Mike Parkinson has done. But believes that it is time for the next younger generation to take the reins in progressing the town in new and innovative ways.
Granite City has one of the oldest and highest-producing steel factories in the United States. Unfortunately, its workers are on the verge of closure, threatening their livelihood.
Colton will fight hard to make sure these factories, as well as any other industries in the city, continue to operate. She will put pressure on government agencies, such as the EPA, to perform their duties in protecting their citizens.
Homelessness has risen in the last couple years because of the mismanagement of the hospital and City Hall. Colton will help create more resources and aid to help the homeless, as well as secure the stability of its current citizens by not relying on Section 8 housing but with plans to invest in the infrastructure of the city, By running for mayor, Colton will historically become the first ever trans woman to run for and or be elected to public office. Bringing national attention that would help shape the town into a newer progressive image as well as attract more people who want to move, live, and invest here. Campaign manager- Anthony Padgett @highlight Colton Crawford for Mayor of City of Granite City, IL
Meet Coulton who was raised in Idaho and lived there until 2023 when she won a Mr. Mrs. Idaho Transgender pagent.
My question is, if you were born and raised in Idaho, and lived there until last year, what makes her decide to, and be qualified to be the mayor of our city?????? And what grants was she involved in the creation of that helped fund departments in Granite City, and how is she promoting businesses, and what businesses???? How long has she been a resident of Granite City or Illinois?

BS. If she just moved here, what could she have done?
Colton will fight hard to make sure these factories, as well as any other industries in the city, continue to operate
Laughable. She obviously doesn't know the difference in government levels. Now if she was running against Durbin, I may vote for her.
Homelessness has risen in the last couple years because of the mismanagement of the hospital and City Hall.
Another laugher. Please tell potential voters specifically how you would end the homeless problem and what the hospital and city management had to do with either.
In addition, she has had experience in both the corporate and business industries for many years. She was the COO of a corporation as well as the owner and operator of many companies.
What companies? She needs to put up facts and information.
Is she the guy who ran against Parkinson last time and she has now transitioned? Not Bailey, the other guy.
I personally don't care about her being trans. She has rights. Will a new set of pronouns be in order? Will there be issues with the biological females about restroom use at City Hall?
Seriously though, this person nor any other candidate has a chance to beat the Parkinson kid. He's done an above average job and the majority of the people here see progress and transparency.
Let's get through the November elections before we worry about this one./ Promises Made, Promises Kept! Republicans stood, the liberal left wept.
