This has by far been the quietest 4th of July that I can remember. Usually, the rednecks start with commercial-grade fireworks in early June and it winds down in mid-August sometime. It had been tapering off some in recent years but this year the bottom just fell out. When the drunks had to decide between paying the rent or shooting off the big bang bangs that was an easy decision, but this year it appears things got a lot more serious. Loud bangs or Budweiser, but not both, oh damn. Well, we knew how that was going to play out didn't we? Now Democrats want an Independent Justice Department. Like when Eric Holder declared himself “Obama’s wingman?”
Coming back from out great park display, there were some big fireworks in the Glenview area. Some landlords are going to get stiffed on the rent this month.
