Perhaps in no other time in our country’s history will the choice of Vice President be more important than 2024.

The likelihood of either codger actually finishing their lame duck term is minimal due to their very advanced age.

That said, who do you think will be each party’s choice for VP?

Surely, the Dems wouldn’t be sneaky enough to appoint a former twice-elected President to that post.

Or would they?

I like Tim Scott, I just don't think he is as on top of things as some others. Scott will have a role, i just dont see it as V.P. He let Nimarata Haley get the best of him until Vivek used and abused her. I see him picking either Elise Stefanik or someone never mentioned, Lee Zeldon. Zeldon is in Trump's inner circle and Stefanik checks some of the boxes.

I don’t think Harris will make the cut in November.

The threat of installing Obama as the VP would shake things up considerably. Unlikely as that may be, he might be interested in a retired-guy-trolling kind of way.

Whomever Trump chooses as his stooge will have to pledge their allegiance to an embarrassing degree as I’m sure so many pageant winners have in the past.

You’d almost have to buddy cop movie this thing to get it off the ground.

Can you imagine not being that familiar with American politics and seeing the cast of Coccoon arguing about which guy is less feeble?

Everyone with an ounce of integrity knows who is the most feeble. You talk about Trump's VP being a stooge, imagine Demented Joe being Obama's stooge if Barry were to take the VP role. If they do something crazy like removing Kamala they have to replace her with a black candidate or things will get really ugly. The DNC of course knows that better than anyone.

There are X number of people who are sworn to Trump and Y number that would rather drink Drain-o than look at him.

What’s at stake is the margin between those numbers and that tail will wag the dog.

That’s where the VP comes in.

It's not my perspective, it's the reality. It's okay though, you are free to pretend that the country is not being left in the dust, I catch myself doing it still. Trump is far and away the better choice, but even if he somehow overcomes all the obstacles that does little but buy us a little time. The end result remains the same, the country is pretty much effed.

If “the country is effed” is the rallying cry, that’s an indicator to pass the baton to the next generation.

I’ve got a strong midwestern bias and think we can do better than pick a habitant of CA, New England or TX to drive the boat.

In a blind draw, I’d take the governor of Nebraska, whom I know absolutely nothing about, over poop box #1 or gilded poop box 2, a box of poop like no one’s seen before, maybe the greatest poop-in-a-box ever.

I would love to be confident in the age group you are so invested in, but they can’t hold a candle to the Founders of this Nation. Although youthful, our Founders were well versed, knowledgeable, worldly, mature, literate, etc. This same age group today start out by naming the continent's with Lake Mead, believe Christopher discovered the Americas in the mid 1800’s, have no clue when WWI began, or who the President was at the time. The majority is dumb as a box of rocks. This ignorance is well documented on the streets of US cities across the Country, not just Cali.
