Sign Trouble Kurt?

Ate lunch with my brother and his family in Edwardsville. On the way back, we noticed that Kurt has six or seven signs along the roadway in front of Edisons.

I thought signs in easements weren't allowed and if you have to put that many in one spot, it might be you don't have enough support to put them in front of homes.

Are you hearing the footsteps yet Kurt. The big surprise is still coming.

All politicians have skeletons in their closets and Kurt is no exception. LOL.

All of the signs were because of a fundraiser being held in that location. What is the big bomb shell you keep promising that's coming? How much longer must we all wait for this closet to open? It makes one weary why there seems to be so much at stake at the county level. It's funny how hard the good ole boy dem club is trying the Slusser hard sell. You have the Dixon's and the GC mayor leading the charge on that one, but there's no mystery why the Dixon's want Prenzler out of there, they don't want ole lady Charlotte losing that gravy deal for their insurance that the taxpayers are paying for.

Funny how all these rinos do the party flip flop for these elections and it's so telling just how much of a rino they all are when their very being oozes hatred for Prenzler. They tie his hands taking his power away, then scream about what he isn't doing as a result of their actions.

Hypocrites all of em. They hate Prenzler because he isn't a rhino and is a true republican, that should tell all the voters exactly what they need to know when they go to cast a vote. The republicans turned out at the polls last time taking a seat away from one of that group, you would think these politicians would figure it out, people have had enough of democrats being in charge to last them a life time and more.

Fiddler, another screen name change so soon? Is Prenz already out of friends?

We don’t hate Kurt. We don’t appreciate him doing nothing for any city but Edwardsville. If you can name anything he’s done for Granite, Madison or Collinsville other than what he has to do by law, please share.

Calling Mrs Dixon names make you feel tougher? Yeah you’re a real bad ass. Mrs Dixon could buy and sell you. She and her husband at least care about Granite and invest here.

Kurt having a fund raiser at a place doesn’t negate putting signs on public right of ways. He should know better.

As for the”bomb”, unless you’re Kurt himself, I wouldn’t worry. As I stated before, it’s too early to release news and give him time to defend it. But like spring, it is coming so stay tuned whichever name you use.

What are you talking about calling someone names? Where did you read that, unless you're referring to me calling her an ole lady, hell she is, that's not name calling, that stating facts. What is with the she could buy and sell you remark, and even if that's so, who cares? After all, the taxpayers paying for their health insurance for years does have to help fatten a bank account.

Maybe if the Prenzler signs bother you so much, you can take a lesson from the dems of old, the very ones that got caught stealing and vandalizing the campaign signs not so long ago. Sounds like you suffer from Dixon envy, what's up with that old man, you're both part of the old fart's club, shouldn't you both be out playing shuffleboard or checkers or something? All 3 of ya are aged out, why don't you all quietly walk off into the sunset and leave the important stuff to the group behind ya that do not require depends!

Sounds like you're getting a bit un-nerved youngster. Maybe you know what's coming out about Kurt and you're worried.

As for being old, yes, I am, and I guess you could say Mike is. However, he probably still works more hours a week than you do. And I don't play shuffleboard or checkers. I do golf four days a week when the weather allows.

And as for buying and selling you? Yes, Charolotte probably could but Mike wouldn't. He only buys classic things like old cars.

We elders could ride off into the sunset as you say but things would fall into the hands of guys like you who probably live in mom's basement.

Sorry about your luck for going there.

Perhaps this is why you suffer so badly from DIX'on envy to the point you can't keep their name out of your mouth. Isn't time for your warm milk, after all it's almost 10 o'clock. I rather doubt this particular sign violation is the only one in the county, it's funny how people only see what they want to see. The closer it gets to election day the more the so-called sign rules are ignored.

So Joe, it's okay to ignore ordinances and rules because you're running for some insignificant office? It says two things about the candidate.

They can't get enough local support for the signs they purchased.

OR

They think they are better than the rest of us when it comes to rules.

If I have a yard sale in Granite and place a sign on a corner, the city picks it up because they have an ordinance against it.

It's not ok, but not being ok hasn't stopped very many candidates from ignoring the sign rules. Voters ignore the violators that they support and surprisingly scream about the violators that they do not support. The bottom line is that nothing will change.
