TOWN OFFICIAL’S COMMENTS
Supervisor Foster: We have not heard back from Chouteau Township regarding their share of Morrison Rd. Supervisor Foster advised Granite City to move forward with the project which is scheduled to begin the 3rd week of September. Once we have an exact date Nameoki Township will send out a letter to the residents. A letter was received from TOIRMA stating in the fiscal year of 2024 Nameoki Township will receive a huge deduction in replacement tax revenues. The Township will lose approximately $99,000 and the Highway Dept approximately $90,000.
The Township also received a letter from community development and the county advising us not to begin Wilson, Fairmont, and Union Ave. repairs until we are notified the funds are available.

Nameoki Township does nothing other than provide a salary and medical insurance for a couple dozen of useless slackers who have learned they can get paid for 40 hours worth of work while actually only working 10. This applies to those elected and those who punch the clock. But I don't think they are required to even do that anymore. It's a money suck, the best secret gig in town. The taxpayers are paying for this joke to self sustain, meaning to pay the salaries of people who really don't do more than push papers and that's only if they decide to show up. The little bit they do can easily be absorbed by the county.

FYI Supervisor Foster is under investigation by the Illinois State Police for mishandling monies on the park on Fairmont Ln in Nameoki township

There was lots of fraud, the pavilion was not built to specs lots of short cuts taken but thanks to the watchful eye of several taxpayers he was caught (CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW) , there seemed to be bid rigging on who got the job, the contract was not advertised in paper for real construction companies to apply to build the pavilion,

Over $15,000.00 spent for upgrade, Nameoki has made some improvement's on the park over a year later after the Painting Co. was paid in full it is still unsafe, and was not built to original specifications provided to the county, BTW the specs were submitted over a year later to Madison County, Nameoki built the pavilion before submitting plans to county for approval, Supervisors Foster put in a bid and then stated he had no intentions to build it WHATTTT plus his company Honey Doo is forbidden to bid because Supervisor Foster is not allowed to have a financial interest in Nameoki as an elected official.

D.M. Krekovich Painting Co Inc was awarded the job FYI family and friends are more important to Supervisor Foster and Kreckovich Painting Co was not in good standing with the State Of Illinois at the time he received the contract

Supervisor Foster is also allowing Assessor Tammy Hanfelder and her Brother in Law Hwy Commissioner Danny Harper to be in the retirement program, the rules state that they must work 20 hours a week to qualify, they both have full time jobs elsewhere, they get paid a salary and pension and don't show up for work to the jobs they were elected to do-- it's looks like a family business try calling Nameoki during business hours 618-931-1230 to speak to either one of them-- they rarely are there GOOD LUCK FINDING THEM AT THEIR ELECTED JOBS

What I find interesting is why Kurt sends his minions to this site. I mean look at the threads. You have about six people commenting and at least one of those uses two screen names. Are any voters in here that will change their mind or party affiliation because of what a few anonymous people post?

I guess I just don't understand the mentality. What is the target audience for these kinds of posts?

I mean I like mind games once in a while but there's not even enough meat in this thread to make a decent burger.

It is hard to get straight information from supervisor Foster, truth is not in him.
He is under investigation by the Illinois State Police for misusing $15,000.00 and rigging a bidding process.

I agree but you give them too much credit Assessor Hanfelder and her brother in law Hwy commissioner Danny Harper dont even show up -- they get paid a salary and pension for not showing up and BTW it is illegal for them to be in the pension plan because the rule is you must put in 20 hours of work a week.
They both have full time jobs elsewhere so you can not be in two places at one time
