Have we lost our minds ? We are having a fight at our Football game . A Stabbing in our park . A person banishing a gun because of a dispute. What seems to the problem in this once Governors award winning community !
Everyone knows what has happened to our city, but no one has the stones to say it. The school board is terrified of some kind of lawsuit. They put out a statement on facebook, the statement had over 100 comments, but the school board, a public government taxing body, deleted almost all of them except around a dozen. If the school board was a private citizen or a private business, I think they would have that privilege. But since they are basically a taxing body, I think delleting responses that they don't want people to see is actually a violation of Freedom of Speech. Everyone screams freedom of speech, and 99 percent of the time they are clueless, but in this case I think it really could be a violation. They are deleting taxpayers responses and comments.

I should have elaborated more in my response. Everyone in this town is afraid of a lawsuit, the police department, the schools, because if discipline is handed out to any Black student it automatically becomes "racial" regardless of what that student did. Same with the police department, Obama tied their hands after the riots in Ferguson. The DOJ and Obama took away the power of the police and it resulted in absolutely no respect for the uniform. If anything **** *** **** you can shoplift, you can steal a car, you can hi-jack a car just about anything short of murder and you won't receive a day in prison.
Can you imagine being a cop these days? Would you feel comfortable approaching a car with just a traffic violation knowing there's a chance you are going ot get shot? Or you are going to be acused of being a racist?
Over half the city being rental property also has contributed to this mess. HUD housing or Section 8 housing where the landlord is paid directly from the government, do you think those renters are going to spruce up the yard? Do you think the landlord is going to keep up on maintenance or slap a coat of paint on the front steps? HELL NO. The renters have no real skin in the game, they arene't paying property taxes, they probably don't even grasp the concept. And the slumlords, as long as they do pay the taxes, most don't even live anywhere near here, and have no intentions of heeding any violation they might get. It's so out of hand there is no way the city has the funds to legally pursue all these landlords and the problem just perpetuates. NO PRIDE.
NO PRIDE, ABSOLUTELYL NOT AN OUNCE OF PRIDE, from over fifty percent of our residents. Their only worry is if the LINK card has been refilled, time for a new tattoo, getting their nails done, Miller time, cigarettes and XXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX. Nine times out of ten there isnt a father figure in the home, and its generational poverty, year after year.
There I said it. That's what happened to our city.
I can't say you are 100% right, but you probably are 50% right. Just wait until cashless bail kicks in, (it's 5 days away) and that's the fault of a billionaire fat white dude.Remember when Trump said, if they bring a knife, we bring a gun?? Oh wait a minute...
