It's just that there's a dumpster fire at Busch Stadium and it doesn't seem like there are signs of letting up.
They are terrible this year and can't hold a lead to save their life. I thought maybe they'd get one on the Angels.....but nope, they gave that one up too!

Im sure its the Republican owners, they all know Trump. You are right though in that the team does suck. The pitching is a joke and the hitting isnt much better. Marmol may have lost the team when he chose to single out O'neill. Once again the 101 FM predictors who all but crowned the Cardinals champions appear to be a little bit off. I’m still not counting them out. Somethings gonna click and this teams going to take off. I like to think we are just giving the other divisional teams a small head start, so the dramatics of the comeback and winning a pennant becomes much more amazing. Go Cards! Hope you're right, but even if they get back in the race, they'll wish they had some of these games if they fall one or two short.

Im beginning to see now what this area means when they refer to the Cardinal Way. Truth is of course that the whole Cardinal Way concept is nonsense. There is no Cardinal way, there isn't even a Yankee way or any other damn team way.

I try not to, I'm not even a Cardinals fan, though I don't hate them as I once did. Im pretty calm compared to some of these self-proclaimed best fans in all of baseball. Many of them can't seem to agree however on whose head they want to see on a stick, Marmol, the catcher, all the pitchers, just about everyone has been mentioned except Fredbird. It's that exceptional baseball knowledge they possess that allows them to place blame flawlessly I suppose. They will soon reach a consensus.
