Education, NOT Indoctrination.

Every school and teacher should be 100% comfortable with parents knowing what they plan to teach their kids. Only the left sees this as a controversial statement. Resistance to transparency in education is a direct reflection of the fact that leftists are running education in this country.

San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York City already have gas stove bans.

Remember this when Democrats say they aren't coming after your gas stove.

The flip side of that is too many parents don’t give a damn about education these days. Blame the teacher when parents don’t push homework or go to conferences.

This community is more the latter on my opinion. We are in second generation lazy parent here. Now, the uneducated parents are breeding the next generation.

School curriculum should be posted on the web pages of all districts but then a parent would have to put down their can of beer and turn off www wrasslin to look up said curriculum.

The liberals didn’t create that part of the problem.

Joe, I have many teacher friends in my golf group who hate liberals more than you do. There's no way they would participate in pushing the policies.

That may be so, but from what ive been told the younger teachers are bullied more by the unions than those who have been around long enough to tell them to pound sand.

I have many teacher friends and family...no one is "Indoctrinating" the kids...that is nothing but a extreme right scare tactic to keep scarring their base to get them to the polls....

I agree MG.

The right uses, "they're coming to take your guns" and "they're brainwashing your kids". The left uses, "they're going to take your social security" and "they're crawling inside your womb".

All scare tactics none of which will ever come to pass.

Of course, indoctrination is going on, and everyone knows it. Some won't admit it because they agree with the garbage that is being taught, and others won't admit it because they like being fence-sitters.

The Department of Education needs to be abolished. It was a bad idea by Jimmy Carter to bring more fluff to the federal government.
