All I can say is,,,,deal with it. All of these people up in arms in full blown tilt about the new commercial being ran on tv with Erica Harris and the steel mill in the background also showing an old house in the background that looks like its falling down is the cities reality.
And as scary or disappointing as it is that very well could be our future if the mill closes its doors. The funniest part of all this outrage over this commercial is,,,,I don't know if it's the content and the message it sends or the poor light some say it puts our city in, or more the fact that the commercial is to elect a republican. This damn town just can't learn a lesson. It would vote for Elmer Fudd before it would vote for a republican, even if to their own detriment.
When you see the city's leadership and representatives out rubbing elbows at mixers and fundraisers for judges and only the ones on the dem ticket, that kind of flushes that ole "vote the person and not the party" straight down the toilet. It also sends a strong message to everyone who will be greatly impacted by these crazy liberal laws, like all LEOs, that they have no problems with this no bail issue we're all facing in the new year, and that they would rather follow the good ole boy patterns of the generations before them in this screwed up state, than to actually be a courageous part of the change and risk being shunned in this town by actually voting with their brains and not give into peer pressure.
Those people who claim to "vote the person and not the party" are the biggest hypocrites out there. They rub elbows and mingle, kissing the rings and the ass of every democrat out there on a ticket. The city should just come right out and name TT as the new democrat headquarters, or,,,,,, puppeteer central. You can find just about anyone that's anybody in there every time its open,,,,,but who or what you WON'T find is a republican!

Personally I could care less if the mayor is a democrat. At his pay grade it really has no impact on our lives. However he’s getting more done than the last three mayors combined so maybe he swings a little more to the right.
As for “TT” assuming you mean Tinsel Town, it’s a private business so I’m sure the owners will host parties for republicans too. In fact, when we send fat boy Pritzker packing, I just might have a Bailey victory party there. (If the clean the glasses after a dem party) lolthey did not fail, because they did what their country asked of them....
