I find it all interesting...

I didn't even know that area was in Nameoki Township....

In one map it looks like there is just a dot on the map surrounded by the City of Granite City, and yet this little area appears not to be in the city.

Being that the case, I was almost certain that was Venice Township or even Choteau.....but it is at the edge of Nameoki.

Taking the political angle... it's just good that someone is going to make sure that there is at least some kind of basic maintenance going on and some dignity afforded to those buried there.

I never ventured to that cemetery..

Capital Punishment - Those without capital get the punishment.

There was a time when Nettie and I went to cemeteries ...knowing your roots is a big deal.

And.,,I do know of the Spanish Cemetery.
