What is Supt Cann and the School Board Thinking????

With the Supt and the Board going to remote learning it's their decision agree or disagree. I hope the Supt. didn't make her decision without talking to her Admin. team and members of the board. This is a major decision. My question is why is a wresting match tonight with wrestlers competing without masks? no spectators are allowed but our wrestlers are going face to face! Does this make any sense? It's time to make a change in our leadership! Supt.and Board!

I would hope that she has to get approval of the school board to make such a call. I think they probably follow her recommendation but they are the ones who get elected to make those calls, not someone who is already alleged to live out of our community.
Good question about wrestling. It would seem that the virus can spread wrestler to wrestler as easy as it could from student to student.
I hope this nonsense ends soon. Even Joe Biden said it's not controllable by government so government, even local, should stop and let parents make the call for their kids.they did not fail, because they did what their country asked of them....

The decision to go remote was made because of the shortage of substitute teachers and bus drivers. It was not necessarily because of positive numbers of students. If you must require a teacher to be on quarantine, someone had to be in the classroom. I get it, I did not want my kid to be remote again either. We will get through these 2 weeks and hopefully everyone that is on quarantine will be back to work and we can resume our school year in class.
