Its not a division loaded with super teams but somebody has to win the NL Central, and who will it be? I think we can cross the Reds out because even though they can hit the defense is not good and im not sure they can pitch either since losing a few very valuable pitchers. The Cubs still have a nice core, but those guys are getting older and probably want out of town anyway. Getting rid of Lester wont hurt much because hes probably 60 years old. Losing Darvish will really sting however and hurts the teams chances. The Brewers have the divisions best pitching and a defense that should be very good, but im not sure if they have enough offense to win. Now for the home team. If you listen to the sports guys, they felt it was in the bag a few weeks ago, but now they are starting to get a little squeamish. Arenado was a hell of an add, but hes just one guy and Busch Stadium isnt Coors field. He will still do just fine, but i expect a modest dip in his production. Offensively they should be good, but not great, defensively they might be top 3 in the major leagues. That gets us to the pitching, which on the surface looks a little shaky to me. It could be really good when a few injuries clear up or it might be pretty average all season. Counting on Carlos and Reyes as key contributors has a bit of a feast or famine element to it IMO. Its probably a two team race between the Brewers and St. Louis and it can go either way. Rumor has it that the Cardinals are looking at Joey Gallo, if so that would make the outfield a little more feared. Right this second ill take St. Louis but I reserve the right to change my mind at any point. They have the dumbest of the dumb yelling into the megaphones and leading the other dumbasses.

Joey Gallo hit .181 last year.
What do you propose the Cardinals give up for such a batsman, Branch Rickey?

Ya, he didnt exactly tear it up last season but he has been better than that in the past. He has some pop and a change of scenery to a contending team might be all he needs. I wouldnt give up a whole lot to get him, but it appears the two teams are talking. I dont see him winning any batting titles, but if he could hit .235 with 40 homers that would be a nice middle of the lineup addition. They have the dumbest of the dumb yelling into the megaphones and leading the other dumbasses.
