Legal Definition of double dipping : the usually illicit practice of accepting income from two mutually exclusive sources (as from a government pension and a government salary or from two insurers for the same loss)"Fight like Hell!"
The issue with pensions isn’t necessarily a double dip. The problem the county had was board members resigning their seat and being given a patronage job for a couple of years and then drawing a pension for life. Thank God that practice was eliminated.
Now if a teacher retires and draws her pension and then goes back as a sub, I don’t see an issue. If a street department worker retires and runs for county board, he is elected by people who know his background. He may someday draw a pension from both entities but again, not a double dip.Every member of the House and Senate are richer tonight because of the economy of Donald Trump. You're Welcome!
