The issue with pensions isnít necessarily a double dip. The problem the county had was board members resigning their seat and being given a patronage job for a couple of years and then drawing a pension for life. Thank God that practice was eliminated. |
Now if a teacher retires and draws her pension and then goes back as a sub, I donít see an issue. If a street department worker retires and runs for county board, he is elected by people who know his background. He may someday draw a pension from both entities but again, not a double dip.
Every member of the House and Senate are richer tonight because of the economy of Donald Trump. You're Welcome!
