Don't be so sure MG, most of the democrats from Granite-Pontoon gladly bellied up to fill that circle for him. They would vote democrat regardless of who the hell was running.
The parties have completely switched rolls, it use to be democrats were behind the ordinary Joe, blue collar worker, now days not so much. The republicans back the blue collar workers while the democrats back the big buck unions and the weight they can throw around, all while trying to convince every voter that goes to the polls that republicans hate unions.
Republicans support unions and the workers they protect, they just don't support unions being allowed to help buy the presidency, big difference!
