Madison County may take up 'double-dipping' ordinance after voters weigh in on advisory referendum

The advisory referendum on the General Election ballot asks, "Shall retired Madison County employees and officials drawing a pension be permitted to also draw a salary for service in another position as an employee, official, or independent contractor of Madison County?" But it is non-binding.

As far as im concerned non binding means why the hell bother? We have people raking in two three and in some cases even four pensions. Is that a bit gluttonous, of course, but you cant punish people for simply doing what they were allowed to get away with.

If you want to stop this good ole boy money grubbing, you cant backtrack. Being inconsiderate and hoggish is not a crime, not until this point anyway.

" Advisory " in other words, we'll take it under advisement but don't call us, we'll call you. LOL

Not only will pre-existing conditions and Medi Care be left alone after the election, there will be full coverage for TDS illness experienced by so many dems.

because he prefers his 6 figure pension and salaried types Democrat party buddies like Ming Mendosa and Daiber as opposed to letting the taxpayers have a say.
Remember him as the one that refused to let voters vote. What a guy!

LOL another attempt to shoot the messenger rather than the message.
It wasn't that long ago Nick voted against the citizens right to vote on the multiple pension issue.
Good old Nick is all for Hagnauer's pensions, Asadorian's, Briggs, Ming Mendosas, Daibert, and the rest of the crowd because after all, they deserve multiple pensions rather than the funding go to things like the schools to educate the children.
I wonder what makes a person tick that deprives children of funding so they can continue to live their lavish lifestyle?
Fill us in why your lifestyle is more important than the schools? I am sure the voters would like to know.
