With 50 million votes already cast, it is interesting to see which party’s supporters have, what Hunter Thompson so aptly described as, “The Fear”.

The Fear, as best I can tell, is what would compel someone to post screeds in the dark hours of the morning to soothe them until the dawn.

Does The Fear have you worried about what might happen in a few days’ time?

Will your candidate be lifted up to “right the ship” as they say?

Will your candidate be relegated to the pile of one-term losers?

Are either of these post-retirement age candidates worthy of making decisions for an America they’ll never live to see?

As the good Dr. Thompson was fond of saying “buy the ticket, take the ride”.

In a closed society where everybody's guilty, the only crime is getting caught. In a world of thieves, the only final sin is stupidity.

I do not believe either candidate will be able to govern for four years, and Joe Biden, if elected, will not be able to do a second term and damn lucky to finish the first.

His polling is only high, because Donald Trump is that bad.

However, Joe's debate performance was abysmal last night and even with an 87% chance of winning... Trump could actually buck the trend again.

He's that bad ...

But Biden couldn't articulate policy very well last night. I saw this coming.

They should have nominated Pete Boot Edge Edge.

Getting Trump out is project number one for anyone who is a Patriot.

Just because he can act presidential for two weeks every four years does not excuse the fact that he is unhinge and unfit...

But the problem is --- what will I be voting for on November 3 (Democratic Election Day..) ..

I am not voting for one man and his policy. I'm pretty well voting for one man who may not see this through and whatever Kamala or a group of handlers come up with.

It's stink, but it's still better than Trump.

Unlike the Trumpcult, Inc... I know the Democrats can do wrong, very wrong. They'll be lucky if they can maintain the lead that Biden is purported to have...

But for the sake of the endurance of this republic.. I hope they can.

They are a laughable bunch, the way they can blunder things.

But shame on the Republicans, for enabling this mess and not intervening at any juncture, to try to bring in a decent Republican.

Oh well...they're no better than Illinois Democrats for not taking a stand against Madigan.

For my ticket... Blue, with the exception of my state Rep... I know the person and will go red...and probably a few more local reds and blues. (Not a Madison County Ballot)

Right you are Dee. This isn't a Trump/Biden race. It's a Trump/Harris race. I think even strongly seated Democrats believe that. In fact, my conspiracy theory instincts tell me this whole new Hunter Gate thing is actually a plant by the dems.

IF elected, you can bet that the GOP will go after Biden much like Nancy and the gang did Trump. If he's impeached, boom! President Harris (just threw up in my mouth)

Now take away moments from last night.

Biden will shut down the oil industry by 2023.

Biden, at least for the moment, won't shut down fracking until he goes home and watches commercials where he said he would end fracking on at least four occasion including during the primary.

Biden threw Obama under the bus on Obama Care (soon to be Biden Care) as well as the children in cages. I bet Michelle gave old Joe a call last night.

Biden blasted Trump for COVID by pretty much saying he would do everything the administration is doing.

Biden indicated the computer involved in Hunter Gate was a plant by Russia. Yes, two and a half years ago, the GOP planned to seek out a democrat who fixes computers and told him to wait until October 2020 to spring it.

As Joe said at least 17 times last night, " Come on". You blew it Joe. The election was yours to lose. You had the guy on the ropes and somebody on his team told him, Mr. President, if you'll just let Joe talk, he'll shoot himself in the foot". Mission accomplished.

Trump just picked up points in Pennsylvania, Texas and Ohio. He needs all three to win. Mission accomplished.

Not only will pre-existing conditions and Medi Care be left alone after the election, there will be full coverage for TDS illness experienced by so many dems.

Despite the codger’s promise, oil isn’t going anywhere (he actually claimed by “2030 or 2050”).

I’ve been alive long enough to know that 2050 wont look that different than 2020 or 1990.

That’s as toothsome of a threat as “lock her up”.

As for Hunter Biden, he’s just as relevant / irrelevant as however you feel the Trump kids are / aren’t selling / not selling access to their dad.

I’m as interested in the chief executives kids as I am my golf partners’ (read: I’m not. And if I see them, the definitely don’t need to be heard).

I am in agreement with McLain...Hunter is no different then the Trump kids...most of us do not care..Oil is going nowhere...Biden is old, but so is Trump..so I also look at Harris and Pence one of who is likely to become president....as far as the debate last night...I call it a draw...

Despite being asked favorable questions, with topics designed to help VP Biden, overall it was the most fair debate. The moderator a huge Democrat at least tried to disguise her bias.

Most people if they are honest about it know VP Biden got taken to the woodshed. Its human nature to want to say the person we wanted to win did so. In this case VP Biden did the best he could, but it wasnt near enough, and he was exposed. Biden didnt win and it wasnt a tie either, he lost badly.

I know this forum declared victory for Biden was assured, but im not sure about that, i think we have heard that declaration before. Im still wondering about some of the other races, the presidency isnt the only thing we are voting on.

Hunter is nothing like the Trump kids, hes a crackhead, child molester. Tiffany looked at times in the past like she could go either way, but now she is doing quite well for herself.
