Good point RB. The union leadership with their six figure salaries have become #####s for the democrats.

Dee, I'm not sure which blue collars you talk to but the ones I know realize that Trump put them back to work while Obummer policies idled the mill twice and cost them jobs.

I think the blue collar guys are much smarter than their leadership gives them credit for.

That used to be the norm. Back in the 60's through the 90's the union leadership dictated who to vote for and the members followed.

After Clinton sold the unions out with NAFTA, individuals started thinking for themselves. They realized the fat cats were being taken care of and as jobs left, unions were broken down.

That's a sad situation because at one time, unions laid the groundwork that built this country. They created fair wages, better conditions and those actions improved the standard of living in this country. I am 100 % for the working union members be they blue or white collar.

What I can't stand is some of their leadership that has sold them out and still shoves a ballot down their throats.

Once inside that voting booth, no one knows how anyone votes but I'll bet you GC shows increases in the GOP vote this time.

Former President Obama said to get these jobs back we would have to have a magic wand. President Trump must have ordered one on eBay.

A few on here have already proclaimed that VP Biden has won this election so no sense talking about what is already done. Id like to know what some of you think of the local races.

The Union does not tell anyone how to vote. The Union endorses the candidate that supports Union policy...Steel Mills are open because of the President..There have been lay offs under both Republican and Democrat Presidents...Steel Mills are market driven...Steel Mills will stay open as long as they are making a profit....

BS, you had it right the first time. The mill being opened back up has everything to do with the President, and you're either naive or willfully ignorant for thinking otherwise.

Opi is right, you're being fed what you want to hear, while the voters go into the booths and vote the exact opposite.

The real actual steel workers support this President, while the union big wigs kiss Democrat ass in (public only). The same goes for all the United States Postal workers, the Postal Union came out in support of Biden, but ask the actual employees and the majority support President Trump.

The Democrats have worked hard making people believe that If you're Republican, you are anti union, and that just isn't the truth. These union leaders forget their jobs are to represent the actual workers, instead of lobbying and strong arming their herd. I'll spare our local loud mouth blow-hard (which is a prime example) of the point I am making, and not call him out by name. The people have tolerated his rhetoric for years, giving him a free pass and a tiresome eye-roll behind his back, while looking forward to sticking it to him and his out dated beliefs in the voting booth. Someone needs to remind this guy to enjoy retirement and to pass the torch. 2016 was a prime example of that.

is add a decade or two of inflation and that so called "fair tax" that I assume she will vote for will hit her, along with the rest of the steelworkers, hard in the paycheck area. People seem to forget things like that while the politicians plan on it. Then when it does happen the finger pointing will go everywhere but the Democrats because...well that's just how life is i guess.
