K thru 6 starts full time in Edwardsville next week

Meanwhile down in Granite the usual bunch hands out the usual pablum regarding the children not being in the classroom. Now by the way this is not an insult to t he students as one of the usual status quo here likes to make it into the straw man post that is so often fostered by the usuals. So Granite teachers are you going to step up and have full time school or is it full time pay for you with no classroom time for the students?
Re: K thru 6 starts full time in Edwardsville next week
I found it interesting that E'ville has changed their minds three times based on who shows up to the meeting. Some people don't have the balls to stand up for their beliefs.
Collinsville has reverted to all virtual. In fact, I believe Edwardsville is the only district in our immediate area that is going "full time".
I guess their kids have their noses so far in the air the virus can't get in there.
Oh and the teacher in Granite don't make that call, the Board does. I guess the local board isn't as afraid of the union as the one up the hill.
As for their pay? I haven't read anywhere that they are getting full pay and benefits.
Are coaches getting their stipends for not coaching?
Are principals, nurses, secretaries getting paid full wages?
Are janitors getting paid full wages to not clean rooms? If no kids, are rooms getting dirty?
If you know for a fact they are getting full wages, post the information.
I'm sure teachers are still preparing lessons. They're still grading assignments. They're making videos for classes. Is that worth full pay? If you're right, I guess the Board thinks it is.they did not fail, because they did what their country asked of them....
