**Flash Flood Watch will be in effect from 10 PM to 10 AM Sunday**
Numerous waves of thunderstorms are expected to develop tonight and last through Sunday morning, dumping 3" to 5" of rain, with locally higher amounts possible. Please expect ponding on roadways and use caution around low-lying or poor-drainage areas, creeks & streams. Rises on larger streams and rivers will also be possible.
This Evening: 80s to 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms developing through the evening.
Tonight: Low 72. Rain and storms likely. Watch for heavy downpours and flash flooding.
Sunday: High 89. Scattered showers and storms in the morning. Partly to mostly cloudy and even more humid in the afternoon.
I have to say that it WAS nasty. If this happened last year, our houses probably woulda go back flowed.
I drove through it 'round 0245 and there were little lakes everywhere (I was worried Id have to break out the bubba rope and pull some cars out of water a couple of times watching them brave it).
Good job to whoever fixed our drainage because I went out a few hours later and most of it had drained (there were still some fun puddles in the old Kmart parking lot perfect to blast through :-D)
Now if we could get the damned traffic lights fixed Here lies a signature, 'posed to be good. I would create something, witty if I could.
