So I understand the "leadership" of Madison County won't allow the public to know which municipalities have positive cases of COVID 19. They are citing HIPPA regulations and they're way off base with that. |
However, it was reported by SIUE today that a student tested positive and is now under home isolation. They also reported that the Madison County Health Dept. will be interviewing a chain of contacts this young lady has made in the past two weeks.
So the question is, if they can interview the one hundred or so people who she contacted and alert them to her condition, why can they not at least let us know if we have factual, positive cases in Granite City, Edwardsville, etc...
Something isn't right. Prenzler should explain.
