Nancy....you have one job....be the adult in the room and you still can't do it without screwing it up.

What a mess on that stage tonight, the grandstanding, the theatrics...sickening on all fronts.

That's all the Democratic leadership had to do was be an adult.

Don't try to out Trump...Trump.... act like an adult...it's the best recourse you have...and you blew it!

Dee, you hit the nail on the head. Nancy, in my opinion, lost control of her party when she caved on the impeachment. She stood strong, using her experience, for a long time but then gave up knowing it could blow up in their faces.

Trump, even though he must hate her, should have taken her hand in a cordial show of respect and he instead, blew her off.

I'm more convinced after watching the speech that we won't ever see bipartisanship in my lifetime ever again.

When the President touts the good things like low unemployment for blacks, Hispanics and women and the left boos or hisses, they lose any support I would have given them.

When the left can't even stand for the strong economy, the support for law enforcement and border control, they prove this is about hating Trump and not their platform differences.

I said two years ago that Trump would play mind games with the left and he has done it daily. They are playing right into his hands.

Today, damage cover up for the blown tabulation of the caucus.

Tonight, he goes into a speech with his highest approval rating according to Gallup.

Tonight, he makes a speech that can be debated but most of it was spot on.

Tomorrow, he will supported by the Senate and the first round of impeachment battles will fall.

The dems better pray that he tries to screw a 17 year old in the oval office next month or they are going to deal with these speeches for four more years.

As for Nancy's show of disrespect at the end, it was just sad to watch. I would have loved to have seen the first lady bitch slap her. LOL.

This is our modern day Washington D.C. folks and guess what? None of them care about any of us.

Traditionally the President shakes the hand of the VP and after handing a copy of his speech to the speaker, shakes his/her hand.

Of course traditionally the speaker presents a more formal and dignified, almost theatrical, introduction of the POTUS. She drew first blood.

I really feel for Rush Limbaugh and wish him well.

However, to crown him a hero and to grandstand with that medal during a speech...but not for the Tuskeegee airman sitting nearby?

This entire thing was a circus...a staged campaign speech and staged antics by the opposition as well......a truly sickening spectacle to the point was that I didn't remain long enough to even see Nancy's little outburst.

Imagine a president that is not impeached for IRS targeting, illegally running guns to Mexico, shipping pallets of cash to our number #i enemy, allowing the sale of uranium to Russia, and using the FBI to spy on opponents, but another is impeached for asking for an investigation into corruption. Its really remarkable if you think about it. That is where we currently are.
