It costs the movie studios more to produce films in 3D, cutting into their profitability.
Their simply arenít as many 3D films produced as there were ten years ago. Netflix had a 3D category at one point - they also no longer do.
Despite what people who donít actually look at numbers believe, the theater downtown does fine.
If we support it, it will live.
If we donít, it will die.
Itís a fine theater.
Itís as simple as that. No politics involved.
