Two brothers in NY were cooking meth and caught the house on fire. They managed to save their meth equipment and go to buy cigarettes before phoning the fire dept. Big problem is that they left their grandmother in the house to die in the fire.

Besides bob, maybe they were influenced by something they heard about in Granite City, or maybe they were born in GC. I dont mean to be insensitive, but grandma was old and probably would have died anyway. BTW dont these guys know smoking is bad for you??

After looking at those two, i dont think a trial is really necessary, just give them both the needle. Use the same needle on them to save money.

Yes it could happen here and it shows the mentality of people affiliated with the meth situation that has spread across our country today. A good read on the matter "Methland: The Death and Life of an American Small Time" by Nick Reding shows how small towns are destroyed from within by the problem.
Unfortunately I have not seen, or heard of, a solution to the problem. One might opine that there should be drug testing of applicants seeking public assistance but, as always, the political types that rely on their votes steps in and defends the users so why would we expect much of anything to change?

I dont know how many tweekers even vote, most of them are null and void on just about everything. Im good BTW on drug testing public aid seekers, but you are right, that will never happen. Instead these nitwits will go after vapors which in bizarro world makes perfect sense.

Years ago the welfare set were rounded up and taken to the polls to vote. The township supervisors were more or less charged with getting the vote out. Today though maybe they have ways of getting votes recorded without the person actually being there. Maybe through the absentee voting system or perhaps by computers somehow. You can bet they get counted though because otherwise why would the usual Democrats lower themselves to throw them food stamps like scraps from the table? If they did not vote the food stamp money would be redirected to more raises for themselves.
