Yep, this is the jackass. These private businesses dig into their own pockets to pay for these bands to play downtown in the park. They sponsor stuff like this to bring people in, and this "union brother/enforcer" thinks he is going to dictate who hires who, how much they are going to spend and then he's going to decide who he will allow to perform. I've heard he's actually very aggressive in trying to get his point across.
After this miserable year, it's got to be a pretty big financial sacrifice for these small business owners to sponsor events like this, and you have some union fanatic trying to throw a wrench into. Yep that there is one fine upstanding community member who isn't sacrificing a penny of his own cash but trying to sabotage small businesses all in his screwed up loyalty to some damn musicians union.
Way to build up this town Mike. You should make the big leap and head on out to where your union propaganda is more appreciated.
