From what I know, they got the corps to allow them to drop the lake levels. That's great and I will commend them. However, in today's Telegraph he makes a claim that the ditch is not his responsibility? I'm older than most and I know for decades the MESD under Mac and Bob Shipley maintained those ditches. They mowed the grass, dredged them, and kept the trash and debris out of them. I would love to be the judge on that court case. Why all of the sudden does responsibility change? Either the previous leaders were doing more than they should have or this guy is trying to shirk his responsibilities. One other thing pointed out was the fact that he doesn't live in the sanitary district boundaries? That's ridiculous in my opinion. You have to be available to be accountable. I don't understand that part at all.
