I was reading the Granite City police blotter on the front page and I am shocked. Maybe I've been a little naïve, because I had no idea there was this much crime in the area.
Crime in places where you just wouldn't expect it, like Stratford Lane, Pontoon Rd, Richmond Ave and the list and offenses go on and on. Most of us think that the old down town area would report most of the crime in the city, and that's sure not the case.
I sure wish the admins had one of these blotter buttons for Pontoon Beach too. I enjoy reading this, it sure was eye opening!
