Carrie Nation started a movement that led to prohibition striking a blow for women.

Shirley Chisolm was the first black congress woman and first female candidate to run for the White House. She was intelligent and classy in every way and she struck a blow for women in politics.

In 1973 Tennis superstar Billie Jean King. Kicked the ass of Bobby Riggs,a little male elitist weasel, proving women could compete with men at any level.

The rallying cry for women in the late 70's came from pop music star Helen Reddy who told us I am woman hear me roar. And we listened.

Since these women of honor took the stage their gender has made great strides.

Fast forward 2017-18 women march wearing vagina hats, threatening to blow up the White House, and telling the President, Go F yourself Donald.

You've come a long way baby.
