Someone took a great deal of time to come up with all these pics. It does look pathetic and I would agree something needs to be done. Our city inspectors must be more aggressive and while the city can't go onto private property to clean up, they should start fining people. That being said, I agree with Spruce that instead of a sniper attack, you should have gone in to see Mayor Ed with these pictures. It looks like you have ulterior motives as opposed to just being a concerned citizen. Much of the blame for that shopping center is the owner and the pigs who dump stuff there to begin with. You always see the bus crowd pushing their shopping carts out to the bus stop and leaving them. Enough said about that mentality. Rent a Center or whoever dumped those mattresses and couches should not only be fined but I would encourage you to send these pictures to their corporate offices. Put them on the facebook pages of other companies like Dollar Tree. Embarrass them into doing something. The kind of litter along the roadway is indicative of people who have no pride in themselves. My guess is their homes look just as bad. The city shouldn't have to clean up after their citizens. Ticket them, fine them or put their lazy asses in a work program to clean things up. It will be interesting to see if any of these areas get immediate attention. I think AlderDan still looks in on us periodically. Maybe he can forward this info to the Mayor and to the public works department.
