I don't think they are stupid, I think they have been indoctrinated by incompetent parents who parented by guilt (daycare syndrome)and taught them that they are entitled to what they want when they want it.
You pretty much aren't concerned about being arrested for robbing a bank when your get away vehicle is a ten speed. Or you know your screwed up parents will bail you out and hire you the best attorney money can buy. Consequences? Not if their parents can help it. WTH?
Thirty years ago, if you stole a car, it was considered "Grand Theft Auto" and you could spend fifty years in the pen for doing it. Now? Probation.
Thirty years ago, if you murdered someone in cold blood, you could get life or the death penalty. Now? Twenty years.
But let's keep filling up our penitentiaries with weed dealers and users, and turn a blind eye to the heroin and meth addicts who have infiltrated our city.
I don't recognize our world anymore.
I've sworn of political arguments so that makes things a little less stressful, but I reserve the right to rant and *itch about society in general.
