It's political grandstanding, that does nothing to protect our Country, that's why.
You assume that there were no controls to vet people, when in fact they were heavily vetted.
I cannot explain liberal thinking to you - I can only explain Deeism....
We are repeating what happened when people like Ann Frank's family sought refuge in the United States.
Are we truly the home of the Brave?
You mean we are more afraid of what harm could come our way - than be willing to help someone who is at the brink of starvation?
We are more willing to let more people die from those circumstances?
I cannot buy the counterarguments --- but I could respect them ---- If they weren't posturing behind a cross and a Bible while doing it.
I don't even want to come close to getting into that topic -- but it makes me sick to my stomach when people don't even know what's inside and support things so counter to it.....and fall for a charlatan who says "I love Evangelicals".
I won't get into that except to say - that based on those same teachings --- It goes against my conscience - to think that our fears hinder our ability to be brave enough to do what is morally right.
I wish I could say that all of them would be grateful for the opportunity --- and would turn into productive citizens and do no harm while they are here.
Then again, there are those who have served honorably in war zones in the middle east, sometimes with more than one tour of duty, only to end up dying on city streets here in the United States.
I'll leave you with one more thing....
During the height of Ferguson -- many protestors said "Black Lives Matter."
In a cavalier way -- those who opposed that movement retorted "All Lives Matter."
